The Gran Premio Motul de la Comunitat Valenciana has been held at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo every year since 1999, drawing huge crowds of up to 150,000 people. The venue enjoys an incredible atmosphere, with the stadium-style nature of the stands around the track allowing fans to view the whole circuit.
Eight-time World Champion Marc Marquez goes into the final race of the season on 395 points, 139 points ahead of his nearest competitor, Andrea Dovizioso. Marquez will hope he can win his 12th race of the campaign in Valencia, while Dovizioso will finish as the title runner-up for the second year in a row.
An excellent win for Maverick Vinales in Malaysia two weeks ago saw him move into third in the World Standings, seven points ahead of Alex Rins in fourth. It will be an interesting battle between the two Spaniards to see who can claim third place.

Previous Valencia MotoGP Results
Marc Marquez will hope to sign off his 2019 MotoGP campaign with another win in a sensational season in which he has dominated almost from the first green light. However, he has not won at Circuit Ricardo Tormo since 2014, and did not finish last year’s race. Despite that, he will be the one to beat again and will be roared on by an expectant home crowd.
Andrea Dovizioso will finish as runner-up in the World Standings for a third year in a row but will hope to end another consistent season on a high. However, he has not had the best of times in Valencia and last year was his first podium finish at the track since 2011, as he finished in second place.
A fascinating battle should unfold between Maverick Vinales and Alex Rins, who will both be vying to claim third spot in the final World Standings. Vinales will go into the race with a seven point advantage over Rins, but there is a big contrast in the form of the two riders at this track. Vinales’ best finish was in 2016 when fifth, but he failed to finish the race last year.
In contrast, Rins won the race last season and was fourth in his previous attempt before that. He can put in another good ride to thwart his fellow countryman.
Top Betting Tips for MotoGP Valencia 2019
Marc Marquez will go into the final race of the season as he has done for most of the previous 18, as the odds-on favourite. He is 17/20 to claim a 12th win of the campaign, whilst Fabio Quartararo and Maverick Vinales are 4/1 joint second favourites.
Andrea Dovizioso was second in Valencia last season and looks a good each-way price for a podium finish at 7/1, whilst last year’s winner, Alex Rins is an even better 8/1 price. At longer odds, Danilo Petrucci is worth a punt at 33/1.
